Feather river
After returning from the Bay area, Isaacs flight finally arrived and we headed north through the Feather river canyon to visit James, Emily and Michael.We had a very pleasant visit and went on a drive up to Butterfly meadow to check out the pitcher plants. There were hundreds of them. Very cool to see.We also attended a performance of the wizard of Oz by the local college, which was very well done.

James and Michael drove down to Sacramento with us, we stopped in Truckee for lunch on the way and then headed to Old Sacramento for a delicious dinner at Cafe New Orleans where we were Joined by Nick, Debby, Aubrey and Heidi.
